I’m Burton Anderson. For more than two decades I’ve led complex delivery and transformation work inside large enterprises—where strategy meets reality, dependencies pile up, and leaders are expected to perform under constant change. Before that (and alongside it), I served as a U.S. Navy aviation combat veteran & information warfare consultant to Navy SEAL teams, operating in high-stakes environments where clarity, accountability, and calm decision-making aren’t nice-to-haves—they’re survival skills. Across both worlds, my work has centered on the same challenge: helping teams move through uncertainty with discipline, focus, and trust.
I’ve watched smart people and capable organizations get trapped by outdated methods: too many initiatives, too much noise, decisions that don’t stick, and teams paying the price in burnout and cynicism. I’ve also lived enough volatility—professional, personal, and operational—to know that “more effort” isn’t the answer when the map stops matching the terrain. This work is personal to me because orientation changes everything. When leaders can see what’s real, make clear tradeoffs, and create a steady operating rhythm, teams don’t just perform better—they suffer less.
I don’t sell buzzwords. I help you see the system, name the constraints, and make decisions that hold up under pressure.
