I came to advisory work through two distinct schools. The first was the US Navy -- combat missions, special operations consultation, and the discipline of clarity under pressure. The second was enterprise leadership: two decades of large, complex programs navigating ambiguity that most frameworks were never designed to handle.
 

The pattern I kept observing was the same in both environments. Leaders who struggled were not lacking intelligence. They were operating without an accurate shared picture of what was actually happening. Threshold is the framework I built from that experience.
